I just wanted to write a quick update to let everyone know that we are testing a Blurt node that has the fix for reblurts .
We are testing it right now. I have reblurted one of @megadrive's posts and it worked for my account (it didn't work before with my account).
Reblurted post showing on my blog.
Once we are certain that it works correctly, I'll make the Blurt node Docker image available and I'll issue instructions for all the Blurt node operators to upgrade their nodes, and then reblurts will work for everyone. It should happen within a few days.

This is a good great development and also a very good job. Once upon a time. I use to reblurt once a day but its not yet going through for a while now. You are doing a great leadership work.. hope to see it rectify soon.

It's exciting to see the stability and additions to Blurt in the last several months from the many developers who've been contributing. It will go far in repairing a tarnished image and allow Blurt to demonstrate why it is the best social blockchain not allowing censorship/censureship as the other chains do with the down vote theft.

I don't think that we should compare to others ( I am on "others" too). I should better focus on what can we do to improve Blurt and those virtues you're talking about. Creating value and successful use cases may help us build a reputation, that takes time and effort. Blurt devs are doing a great job here and people put their effort in creating quality content and conections.
I think that as those at the others have ramped up their abuse of the downvote theft targeting those with messages that they disapprove of that it is more crucial than ever to highlight this fundamental difference in platform. Those who seek to control the narrative for politically (not so in my opinion) correct angles while insisting there is no place for documented science that contradicts the farrmers of mens narratives control many areas of the internet and their control grows weekly.
The true freedom allowed here at Blurt without fear of one losing their votes, or losing the rewards for their stake allocations placed to another is a highlight for Blurt and the lack of such on the others is a black eye for them.
That's it precisely, pointing out, promoting and improving Blurt values more than comparing to others cos that kind of strategy (it's often used in business) only drives to confrontation. I prefer the "building bridges" strategy that allows coexistence, respect and peaceful horizonts.
Users and investors will put everyone at place so let's fight for a place for Blurt. Everyone has it's virtues, let's take profit from them rather than pointing out weaknesses of others.
It was @jga who did the fix. I'm just testing it and then coordinating the deployment once we're satisfied that it works correctly.

I haven't had any success using this reblurt feature. an error message appears.
That's why we're fixing it.
Once we release the upgraded Blurt nodes, that error won't happen anymore.
Ok. I'm ready to wait for the results of the repair.
