Happy Caturday everyone! Cot was a mite curious about the wood stove box this evening as you can see from the picture. He has been known to crawl completely inside before with no fire blazing, of course! He does love a good fire and we are still having one in the evening to get the chill off the house and reduce humidity a bit. Silly kitty!
Saturdays-err, I mean Caturdays have a way of going by a bit too fast and today was no different. Sleeping in has its drawbacks but sometimes after worked my workweek, I need that sleep!
Once up, I did a few housekeeping things while @silvertop did his thing and then restocked the firewood. There seems to be a little bit of a shortage on a particular brand of protein bar that we like and we were out. I suggested going to Walmart to restock. I would have bought 2 12 packs but they only had one so I purchased it plus a small one. We also picked up a few things while there, then went to Winco as I’m on a taco salad craze right now and needed lettuce plus all the stuff I use to make homemade salsa. Then of course, it was time for coffee and my weekly apple croissant from Starbucks.
Once we were ready to go, we set out for home. @silvertop started mowing and I began hiking our property. I did head way back into the forest but ended up turning around. I wanted @silvertop with me as those woods are relatively undisturbed. We have bears, cougar and bobcats around so I needed moral support, lol!
After acquiring my steps for the day, I came inside. Turns out @silvertop was finished mowing.

A calendar that Bill and Agi gave me for Christmas is of sheep. I had to take a picture of April’s ewe of the month. Appropriate for April-don’t ‘cha think?
