….to Cot!
Yes, the little fur baby turned 9 years old today! Where has the time gone?!
It was a fine summer day in June of 2016. Back before, literally the day before we began hiking the trails at the end of our road, we had gone for a hike on the North Pass. There’s a curvy and hilly section of the road and as we were hiking, I heard a ‘meow’ from the forest. I ‘meowed’ back and I heard the ‘meow’ again. We continued on meowing back and forth and out of the forest popped an itty bitty kitten. He was so happy to find us. @silvertop wouldn’t pick him up so I did and this little ball of fluff had a purr like a Mac truck! We tried to find where he belonged, but everyone at the doors we knocked on said he wasn’t theirs. In the end, we took him home until we could find a good home for him. It turned out our home was his good home and the rest is history!
Cot has a personality unlike any of the other kitties we’ve had. He’s almost human at times, lol!😹 He’s wormed his way into our hearts forever now and I am so glad we found him that summer day.
Now, as for his birthday; we had to estimate his age and I decided it to be today. It also would have been my dad’s 106th birthday, had he lived. So I combined their birthdays. So here’s to our furry little boy! Happy Birthday Cot! 🎁🎂🎊🎈😎👍😁😻
He got 2 special catnip mice and some chicken Florentine for dinner along with a few kitty treats in a heart shape. He is very spoiled and loved! 😻
It was a purr-fect celebration! 😽
