Hey man! Good to see you on Blurt. I remember when you showed up on Hive, we used to chat a fair bit. I'm glad you've stuck with it, and done well! Shortly after that point, I was downvoted off Hive. Every post and comment is downvoted by huge whales at the last minute before payout, automatically. So I can't earn anything, and my rep is slowly draining away, so soon I'll be hidden and marked as a scammer. But I've done nothing wrong except maybe be a threat to the corrupt Hive whales. I've been on Blurt 3 years, and put all my savings here. Unfortunately, the token crashed, and has never recovered. So I've blogged for 10 years and made almost nothing, but I'm still at it. Blurt is FAR better in many ways, thanks to a few things, but mainly the lack of a downvote button. Much less opportunity for censorship here! Welcome.
Yo D
Wealth in ounces baby!!!!
It was your articles on hive, as well as listening to Unkle Bonehead via his Libertybytes channel on youtube that really made me reconsider hive.
I'm still new to the scene, i only came about in 2021, but it's still quite shocking to see what's become of hive. The promise of a total decentralized social network, layers of activity that brings prosperity to the people (look at the folks over in the poorer countries), and free speech. That was what brought me to hive.
Since the convid shit happened, my sense of...honour...has grown and matured. I am very anti-censorship and i will not stand by and get shafted.
I remember a guy called Kenny, the bald headed dude that was speaking in Anarcopulco or something...he used to be big on hive. He really helped me out, but one day he just quit and that got me thinking. Now years later everyone's giving hive the middle finger. I gave mine today btw.
I will still keep hive as a secondary backup, but now i am slowly transfering all hive to blurt as a savings account.
I have followed you since i got onto hive, and i really like your well written pieces. I wish i could write like that fucking hell.
Anyway, thanks a lot for the re-welcome. I've also followed you on the YT, "brave-smoke's corner" being the channel name. If you can share my hive/blurt vid to peoples, lets get these folks on blurt and lets blurt the shit out of things.
Off to smoke da green! I aint stopping til i hear chinese people singing tonight!!!
LOL you're hilarious as usual : P
Duuuuude, that's great news! I believe this will be a positive move for you, and also for Blurt. Respect for posting this video also over on Hive. You were critical, and that can get a guy in trouble, so good on you for doing the right thing and speaking up about something that shouldn't be happening. Keeping Hive as a backup is a great idea, I do that too (and the same with Steem). Only takes a few seconds per post, and a moment now and then to check for comments. I earn nothing on Hive, and between 0 and 5 cents per post on Steem, so it's truly just "for the record".
You're turning your HIVE in for BLURT? That's big! Right on, that's great news, and imagine what would happen if there was a paradigm shift (similar to Steem ---> Hive) that sees people capitulate and head for Blurt? It truly is a platform with better settings and policies. The only thing it's missing is volume, and the investment / infrastructure that goes along with it. Blurt seems small at the moment, but I have a feeling it's just one specific step away from being huge.
BlurtMedia is huge. We've been begging for years (decades?) for an alternative to YT that doesn't censor for stupid reasons. BlurtMedia is it, as far as I can tell! Really well run. Very fast to upload and view. Embeds nicely into blogs/comments. Potential to earn extra payouts. It's a hidden gem, and if it catches on, I think it could help Blurt get more traction on the larger field.
You wish you could write like some of my articles? Well thanks! But I wish I could rant off the top of the dome the way you do in vlogs. I've always enjoyed your style. You have some persona, some charisma, some flair. Too many people have none of the above nowadays! Not saying I'm all that interesting myself... but at least I'm not a robot mushroom drone.
I'm wondering how that Chinese singing is going... should be a good time LOL
drutter at protonmail (dot com) if you want to converse off the chain, make plans to bring peace and liberty to all the world, etc etc.
Great to be in touch again, you're one of the good guys. Enjoy the smoke!

Great breakdown. Blurt Media is WAY better than doing something on centralized media OR even hive.... hive's problem is the same as STEEM's problem... They centralized the Blockchain and have Downvote Mechanics that require you to do exactly what "They" say and hope They don't steal your upvotes... Which they'll do anyway because they have to in order to keep their "backed dollar" Scam going.
On the other hand, Blurt dropped both the Downvote and the Backed Dollar Scam which means no one can steal your reasources. Blurt is simply inflationary based on ussage And savings.
All three blockchains though have a flaw in which they've been promoted as "Social Networks"... But i subscribe to the opinion that they are simply a way to publish on line. The social networking aspect seems to cause problems in my opinion based on what users are used to on other networks like Facebook and X.
In brief, Blurt is a great way to make an online Wallet that is web3 enough to give several ways to on-line publish. Said publications can carry over to places like FB and X where 100s of millions of "people" interact. Serious followers can always make their own wallets if they wish to comment or upvote, but trolling and harassment (things which are pervasive on these other networks) don't translate too well over here.
I follow YOU not because i want the social networking, but instead i see Your content as similar to what I wish to publish. Its like Union software to keep everyone on the same page.
High Regards.
🤬🥓
Excellent insight my friend!
I'm still quite shocked with the internal drama brewing within hive's belly. It just goes to show that ambition must be tempered with principles and a code of honour, which i am convinced hive is losing.
Yet there are many good people on there, and they need not give up hive for blurt...we can have both pies!
BRING DA BACON
hive is still vitally important because of Hive-Engine. The internal drama hasn't found its way in there ... Yet.
🥓
Hmmm, yeah. Hive-engine is something I still use for certain things. I'm not really sure what I'd replace it with. I remember when I lost 0.0001 BTC on Steem-engine when they shut down, along with a bunch of other tokens, that was kinda rotten. Any way we can fork it or something, maybe hire somebody cool like agorise to build/adapt our own?
Agorise, along with people like You, Jin here, and myself, are part of what makes Blurt better. Blurt.Media will grow and become very useful this year. In my humble opinion...

hive is just money laundering. 🤬
