Good day my fellow blurtians , so today , i decided to take up a new book Titled the 1% rule by tommy baker , so i decided to be sharing the knowledge of this book with us.
So i started with chapter one of this great book and i was really fascinated with what i saw.
In this chapter one , the author challenged this modern generation with their obsession with overnight success and the need with instant gratification. Be it in business , health sector , personal growth , or any other industry , people fail to make a lasting progress because they are busy chasing quick results.
The problem with achieving great things as seen from this book is not that we lack motivation but that we lack the much needed process.
Social media today is full of success stories , people get inspired by this stories thereby leading them to make ambitious goals, however they tend to burnout quickly when they don't see result.
This scenario tend to repeat its self thereby leading to what the author called "success Epidemic".
Don't chase big wins and expect to see results overnight , but instead focus on becoming 1% better each day.
This chapter is actually a very strong foundation and opener to what we are to expect in the book.
