I am also an old Roman Catholic … from Rome.
I have studied all the World Religions for the last 50 years and happily decided to remain a Catholic.
But I am more interested in the very early years. ( Gnostics, Mystics and 1st Hebrew Students of Jesus in Israel)

Here is the Lord’s Prayer in Aramaic … as spoken by Jesus (Yeshua ha Notzri) 2000 years ago.

My heritage is Scots Irish from Belfast and I may never be able to go see my family there as a Catholic. I never thought I would be down this path. I spent more time as atheist/agnostic than anything else.
I will say the Catholic Mass is beautiful and look forward to when churches embrace mass in Latin.

I’d like to see the Catholic Mass in Galilean Aramaic … as spoken by Jesus (Yeshua) to his Talmidim (students) at the Last Supper.
