Pipe Smoking: A Ritual of Self Awareness

Recently a supporter of my channel sent me an email congratulating my on my pipe-smoking videos. The gentleman decided to send me a box of cigars and pipe tobacco, and to my surprise i was gifted some excellent hard to find blends.

So i thought i'd make another video talkin about the joys of the pipe smoke. I remember making a similar video in 2022 talking about this. Now that i've familarized myself with the art of pipe smoking (took me 5 years just to get comfortable with it), i feel i have found my smoking rhythm, as well as my smoking palette, not to mention the types of leaf that i prefer.

am not here to advocate smoking, but more so advocate the idea of finding more ritualistic activities in our daily lives that grounds us in wholesome ways. In these activities we regain a semblance of self-respect (ritualistic activities are always grounded on some sort of self-improvement, ranging from spiritual development, to keeping one's mind sharp, to the refinement of natural instinct through physical exertion, to releasing of hidden traumas/tensions).

Smoking is a way that allows me to slow down, to take myself away from worldly dramas, creating for myself a moment of respite.

The pipe is a piece of nature that i always have in my pocket, reminding me that slow and steady wins the race, whether in smoking or in life. I prefer this way as it bleeds into other areas of my life.

And a word on pipes: they are an expression of the pipe-smoker. Your pipes are an extension of who you are. You should never allow anyone to smoke or even touch your pipes, unless under extreme uncommon heroic circumstances....like....inducting people into the art of pipe-smoking or to induct them into my very own League of Extraordinary Smokes.

On this note i would love to get a peace pipe, i think one is needed. If a pipe can bring peace then why not bring it?
