Donate coffins to the temple

Hello friends, today is a holiday that my family went to make merit to donate coffins at Wat Huai Phak Chi, Ban Pong Subdistrict, which is an activity that my wife's relatives will join together once a year. This year is the second year that we have done it together. The main host is my mother's nephew who is the owner of a conveyor belt company. My family and my father and mother donated 2 coffins. Today, the total number of coffins donated to the temple is 36, each costing 3,500 baht. Last year, we donated to Wat Khanon.

I left home to travel to Wat Huai Phak Chi after breakfast. It took us about 45 minutes to get to the temple. At the temple, the cook had prepared food for the attendees. There was rice, dessert, and fruits. But we had already eaten, so we asked for just dessert, which was a floating palm fruit menu and I asked for another cup of Lod Chong Nam Kati. After that, we performed the ceremony to hand it over to the temple. We performed religious ceremonies according to tradition.

While we were sitting there, many lottery vendors came to sell at the event because today was the day for all the lucky gamblers. Everyone was waiting for the hope of getting lucky, the number 36 which matched the number of coffins would sell well and run out. When the seller came to sell at the table where we were sitting, my father-in-law asked to buy number 36 but it was sold out, so he picked two numbers 32, which made my father-in-law win the lottery and get 4,000 baht. My father said that if he won the lottery today, his grandchildren would take him out to eat.

Today, we had the happiness of making merit and also got a little bit of luck.

Thank you to all my friends who have supported me.
