Video footage showing extortion activities under the guise of opening and closing roads in Pandansari Village, Ciawi District, Bogor Regency, has gone viral on social media. In the video, a number of residents are seen around a portal made of bamboo.
In the video seen by detikcom, Thursday (18/8/2022), the bamboo portal is used to open and close the road access for passing motorists. Residents were seen closing the portal when the car was about to pass.
Then there were residents who approached the driver of the car to ask for some money. When residents are given money by the rider, the portal is opened again.
