Have you ever seen a giant spider on trees where you have been very near? It's scary to see them, right?
They are called St. Andrew's Cross spider as I found on the web but in my locality, they are celled spider-X due to its distinct attitude of putting an X mark on their web and most people fear them despite their gentle nature.
Anyway, I took a picture of this majestic creature one day when I and my husband went to buy bottle scraps from Menzi Village and on our way home, the side car wheel got flat and we had to stop on a vulcanizing shop to get the wheel done.
After a few minutes of waiting, my husband brought me to the tree across the road and showed me the giant spider when I was already near it and I jumped out of fear. It;s not that I am afraid of this kind of spider but I never though of it being on the tree the least. Anyway., I recovered fast from my fear and took the delicious treats the nature had for us and of course, I took as much as I could to bring for my kids at home. Though they may be still sour, the kids liked them but did not ate as much.
