You can see the live streaming link for the 2023 Indian MotoGP here. For the first time, India will hold MotoGP. The 2023 Indian MotoGP sprint race session was held last night (23/9/2023). Meanwhile, the main race for the 2023 Indian MotoGP will be held this afternoon.
The 13th MotoGP 2023 series will take place on Hindustan soil. The Buddh International Circuit will hold its first MotoGP race, after previously being used for Formula 1 car racing. This circuit held F1 racing in the 2011-2013 season, before taking a long hiatus until 2022 and finally entering the MotoGP calendar this year.
Considering that this is a new circuit for MotoGP racing, it is predicted that the race will be exciting. Because the racers will of course still be groping about the layout of this circuit to find the right racing line, as well as a suitable driving style. Even some new riders can learn this circuit through video games.
Quoted from the MotoGP page, the Buddh International Circuit for MotoGP has a total length of 4.96 km, a width of 12 m, and a straight track of 1,006 m. This circuit has 9 bends to the right and 5 bends to the left. The very long straight track really pampers big powerful motorbikes such as Ducati, Aprilia, Honda and KTM.
As proven in last night's sprint race, Ducati continues to dominate this circuit with Jorge Martin being the rider who finished first. Even so, Honda and Yamaha have also proven themselves to be competitive on this 'new' circuit. Marquez could climb to the third podium and Yamaha rider Fabio Quartararo could finish sixth.
According to the schedule, the main race for the 2023 Indian MotoGP will be held at 17.00 WIB. Note that the weather at the race location is normal. If it rains like yesterday, the race could potentially be postponed. For example, a sprint race, which should be held at 17.00 WIB. But due to rain, the race was moved to 18.30 WIB.
