ANTIDOTE TO MURMURING
“Neither murmur ye, as some of them also murmured, and were destroyed of the destroyer.” - (1 Corinthians 10:10)
"And when the people complained, it displeased the Lord: and the Lord heard it; and his anger was kindled; and the fire of the Lord burnt among them, and consumed them that were in the uttermost parts of the camp"(Numbers 11:1)
God despises complaining. He despises it so much that He sent fire to consume some of the Israelites who were complaining in the text above. He does not want you to be murmuring, but to live and exult in the knowledge of His love and care for you. You must recognize that whatever you are going through, He is aware of it, and He will see you through it triumphantly. Why do you call yourself a believer if you don't trust Him? You can rest assured that if you put everything in His hands, He will make the best of the circumstance.
However, there are times when we are confronted with experiences that cause us to doubt God. However, consider this: who are you to challenge the Creator of heaven and earth? Who are you to say whether or not He is acting correctly? Job attempted to question God, and by the time God responded, he was terrified (Job 38-40). "At all times, I will bless the Lord; his praise shall continually be in my mouth"
Praise God all of the time because He is in control. All things work together for the good of those who love the Lord, according to Romans 8:28. You may not comprehend right now, but you will in the near future. It will be difficult for you to complain or murmur about anything if you determine that the praise of the Lord will be in your mouth at all times, regardless of the situation. Keep telling Him every day that He is greater than the greatest, that He is higher than the highest, that He is the owner of the cattle on a thousand hills, that He is the One who parted the Red Sea, that He is the One who brought water out of a rock and that He is the owner of the cattle on a thousand hills.
Your faith would soar above the issue, demonstrating that your God is larger than whatever mountain you are fighting, and you would soon be dancing triumphantly.
