Hello Blurt

I only found out about blurt today and thought i would swing by check it out and do an introduce myself post, so here goes

My name is JJ, well not really but that's what everyone calls me, I have retired early this year, just as the effects of Covid hit us here in the United States, so was not quite the start to retirement that I was planning to say the least LOL

We have been busy since then buying a new house close to the Children and Grand Children, selling our old Condo, and of course, all that goes into moving and setting up a new house, with extras as we have been doing some work on our new place to make it our retirement home.

My main hobby is photography and that's what I will be posting about on here

I will share some shots from is a walk through the Acushnet Sawmill park in New Bedford, a lovely little park and walk, I went there to see how the fall colors were coming along, and there were some nice colors but not full yet, and hence for this post I will instead focus on some of the small details I noticed on the walk

I am not sure what these are called but they did catch my eye

Now I did say I went there looking for fall colors and this leaf had the fall spirit for sure

This plant is drying up and fadign but I found it quite beautiful
