In the early days of Hip Hop, many pioneers were refining the art, and Eric B. And Rakim added their strong and jazzy style to the mix. At a time when aggressive gangster rap and socially conscious Hip Hop was coming out of the East Coast, Eric B and Rakim released their album "Strictly Business" which rocked the scene with it's jazzy and fresh lyrics and beats.
In 1987, Eric B. And Rakim released their first album, "Paid in Full" and it was a hit. The album sold Platinum in 1995 and made it to #10 on the Billboard Charts. The fresh and straight forward rap flow coupled with jazzy and distinctly East Coast beats made it a winner. Many critics took note of Eric B and Rakim's sound, and it was universlly beloved. The jazzy East Coast style and slang electrified the airwaves and inspired many upcoming artists at the same time Hip Hop was spreading across the country to the West and South.
Eric B and Rakim jumped on the scene with Hip Hop legends including KRS-1, Run DMC, EPMD, The Wu Tang Clan and others who were defining the art. The force of Hip Hop in the East Coast rapidly spread, and artists including the Geto Boys and Ice-T adopted strong beats and conscious lyrics in reaction to the reception of Eric B and Rakim's art. Their music was an inspiration at just the right time of Hip Hop's inception.
I love listening to Eric B and Rakim, and am still a fan after several decades. Their music has a great flow to it, and the beats are still inspired. The band broke up in 1993, and it's a shame that happened. I never saw them in concert, as I was on the West Coast during their heyday. Check out their record "Paid in Full" and the movie by the same name starring Camron.
My Risingstar Report 10/2023:
More lessons and more Starbits claims have take center stage on my strategy. I will be making an effort to purchase some more NFT cards and more Starbits to stake in record staking this week.
The point of my strategy is to increase my Starbits payouts per claim on my missions. I have been focusing on music lessons lately including piano and production lessons to boost my payouts while decreasing my ego score, which does decrease my Starbits payouts. I am at level 39, and will keep striving to move up the ranks.
I have also been adding Starbits and Starpro to the Tribaldex liquidity pools, and want to boost that income as well. If you haven't already done so, this can add more income and help add liquidity to the assets. Have a great evening, and game on.
